How it works

Versus is a Solana launchpad where tokens fight. Launch on Meteora with locked liquidity, enter the arena, get matched against another token for 24 hours — the one that trades more wins, and the whole pot is spent buying and burning the winner.

Token battles

Enter. After launch the creator presses Enter the arena on the token page (signed with the creator wallet, no gas). The token waits in the lobby; the moment another token enters, the two are matched and a 24-hour battle starts. One token can only be in one battle at a time.

Score. The score is the USD trading volume (buys + sells) of each token during the battle window, read from the on-chain trades Versus indexes. It updates every few minutes on the battle card and on the Arena page.

Pot. While a battle is live, the buyback & burn share of both tokens' trade tax is not burned — it is parked in the battle pot instead (shown in USDC). The more both sides trade, the bigger the pot.

Settle. When the clock runs out the keeper buys the winner with the entire pot on its Meteora pool and burns everything it bought. The losing token keeps nothing: its own buyback money was spent pumping and burning its opponent. The burn transaction is linked on the card.

Cheers. Anyone holding either coin can cheer a side once (signed, no gas). When the battle settles, 10% of the pot is split equally, in USDC, among the wallets that cheered the winner — the other 90% buys and burns it. Wallets that held nothing when they cheered are counted for the tie-break only. Equal volume is decided by cheers, then by market cap.

Nothing about the tokens changes during a battle: liquidity stays locked, holders keep earning rewards, trading is open. A battle only decides who gets the burn.

Launch on Solana

Name, ticker, logo. Choose a trade tax (1–10%, applied to buys and sells) and how it splits: 💵 holders, 🔥 buyback & burn, 🧑‍🚀 creator. 10% of every tax goes to Versus. Tokens are plain SPL tokens, 1B fixed supply, mint and freeze authority revoked.

Two launch modes on Meteora (audited, permissionless). Instant pool (default): the whole supply is deposited single-sided into a permanently locked DAMM v2 pool at ≈$3k market cap — no curve, no migration, listed on DexScreener, Jupiter and Telegram bots from the first second. Bonding curve: the token starts on a Dynamic Bonding Curve at ≈$3k and graduates automatically to a locked DAMM v2 pool at ≈$60k — it shows up in bonding and migrated feeds (Axiom, GMGN). Pools are quoted in SOL (default) or USDC. Optional dev buy in the same transaction.

There is no team allocation, no admin key and no withdraw function; liquidity can never be pulled.

Rules

At launch the creator can print rules on the token: 🧯 Anti-dump cap, 🐋 Max wallet, 🎯 Sniper shield, 🔒 Creator vesting, 🎁 Buyer rewards. They are shown on the token page and checked by the reward keeper every hour against the indexed trades.

On-chain mode. A bonding-curve launch with on-chain enforcement mints a Token-2022 token whose transfer hook is the Versus hook program: vesting, sniper shield, max wallet and max sell are checked by the chain on every transfer and a breaking transfer is refused outright. The hook is active for the whole curve; at graduation Meteora revokes it and the keeper takes over.

Keeper mode. In instant-pool launches (and after graduation) a rule does not block the transfer — it makes breaking it expensive: a wallet that breaks the anti-dump cap or snipes the launch earns no holder rewards and no seniority refunds while the penalty lasts; a creator who sells inside the vesting window loses the creator fee share to holders permanently; max-wallet caps the reward weight; buyer rewards pay part of each hour's holder pool to that hour's buyers. Every breach is logged publicly on the token page with the wallet and the reason. See all rules.

Seniority · holding pays

Every wallet has a seniority in every token: how long it has held what it holds. It is built from your own buys and sells (first in, first out) and reconciled with your on-chain balance after every trade, so tokens that arrive by transfer start at zero and tokens you move out take their seniority with them. Seniority goes from 0 to 100% over 72 hours.

Sell tax refund. The pool charges everyone the same tax, but the keeper gives it back according to seniority: sell what you bought 72h ago and 100% of the tax on that sale is refunded to your wallet in USDC; sell after 36h and half comes back; sell within the hour and nothing does. The refund is paid from that token's own tax pool (at most 50% of a round, the rest waits for the next hour) — paper hands fund the exit of diamond hands.

Reward weight. Holder rewards are split by balance × (0.2 + 0.8 × seniority): a fully senior wallet earns 5× what a fresh one earns for the same balance.

Supply age. Each token page shows how old its traded supply is — how much was bought in the last hour, day, three days, or earlier. Fresh supply is supply that can flip; senior supply is supply that is paid to stay. It is the one number that tells you whether a chart is about to be dumped.

Adopt a dead coin

A Solana token with no trades for 7 days (and not in a battle) is up for adoption. Anyone can pay 50 USDC and become its creator: the creator fee share, shill campaigns and the arena button move to the new wallet, and the holders stay exactly where they are. The 50 USDC is not a platform fee — the keeper spends it buying and burning that coin within the hour, so the first thing a new owner does is a buyback.

The previous creator is notified and loses nothing they already earned; they simply stopped running the coin. Adoptions are listed on the token page.

Holder rewards

The tax is collected by the pool in the pool currency, claimed by the Versus keeper and split every hour: seniority refunds first, then holders by seniority-weighted balance snapshot, buyback & burn (or the battle pot when the token is fighting), creator, platform. Holder rewards are paid in USDC straight to each holder's wallet — no claim, no expiry. Turn on auto-reinvest in your vault and rewards of $1 or more buy the token itself instead and land in your wallet (compounding; each buy starts seniority). The pool, the keeper and the burn address are excluded from the snapshot.

Shill campaigns

Any token page can host a campaign: the creator (or anyone) funds a USDC pool, sets a rate per 1,000 views and the platforms that count (X, TikTok). Anyone posts about the token, submits the link, and views are read from the platform. Verified posts are paid from the pool every day in USDC, straight to the poster's wallet; the pool shows what is left, what is reserved for pending posts and what has been paid.

Creators can route a share of their own fee income into the pool automatically, so a token that trades keeps paying the people who talk about it — and a token in a battle has every reason to. Posts that are deleted, bought views or duplicate content are rejected and the reservation returns to the pool.

Quality gate. Every submission is scored 0–100: does it mention the token, is it more than a ticker dump, is it a copy of another submission, does the account have real reach, do the views match the engagement (thousands of views with zero likes look bought). 70+ from a linked account is approved instantly, 40–69 waits for the creator, below 40 is rejected outright. Approved posts whose views later balloon far beyond the account's reach are pulled back into review. Creators can also switch a campaign to review-everything mode.

Linked accounts. On My earnings a poster links their X or TikTok account to their payout wallet by posting a one-time code. Posts from a linked account that mention the token are approved instantly; anything else waits for the creator. Each account can submit up to 3 posts per campaign per 24 hours. Optional Telegram alerts tell posters when a post is approved, rejected or paid.

Closing. A campaign can have an end date (it pauses automatically) and the creator can close it at any time: pending posts are rejected and the unused pool is refunded to the creator's wallet in USDC.

Profiles, leaders, points

Set a display name and avatar in your vault (signed with your wallet, no gas). The leaderboard ranks the last 7 days by net USDC flow, volume, rewards earned and creators. Points: 1 per USDC traded (buys ×1.5) and 10 per USDC of rewards earned, weekly. Daily top: today's top earners and top paying tokens. All read from on-chain events.
